Bonnet,Trunk Deck Lid, Bumpers
This first picture shows the front of the car shortly after it was sprayed black quite a few years ago ( a phase I went through, but am now restoring vehicle back to it's original gold ). This design of the urethane Front Bumper Cover ( or Nose Cone ) was used on Trans Ams from 1979 to 1981. The pictures below show the Trunk Deck Lid, and then the rear of the car after this was removed. Note that the original gold colour was revealed after the rear spoiler had been removed in

Vacating the unit
October 2025 was the month that my Trans Am moved from my friend's unit, where it had been for a few years ( big thank you to Graham ). Prior to moving I temporarily fitted the wings back on the vehicle ( see pictures below ). You may notice that the car body is not gold, but black. Basically I changed the colour from gold to black during the 1990's for reasons I will not go into here, and totally regretted it, hence the reversion now to the original factory colour of Solar G

Transmission floor-shift and linkage
Above photo shows the Transmission Shifter Cable still attached to the Selector Lever, and the Shifter Cable Bracket is hanging down - this is because the Transmission Pan has been removed. Transmission Shifter Cable is now detached from the Selector Lever and hanging down Floor Shifter is shown here inside the car with the Shifter Cable still attached. The four bolts were then removed to release the main frame, and the two small tap bolts removed to release the Shift Cable S
